Week 4, Question Oct. 18~Oct. 25

This week we read about Japanese housewives organizing co-ops and shopping and how their choices can help the environment.

What are some other ways we can think globally by acting locally?

I look forward to your ideas. :-)

I've invited some friends to join our party!

Hi girlies, ;-)

I've invited some friends to join our group! They are really cool. MaryAnn is from New Orleans but lives in Saipan. I went to Pepperdine University with her and we had a great time together. She is working at Northern Marianas College and is also teaching Sonia. Sonia is from Korea and currently living in Saipan. If you want to check out her life in Saipan, please visit her blog.

Here is the question for week October 11 - October 25. (Remember, we don't have class on Tuesday, you have some religious lectures instead.)

Do you think you are a monochronic or polychronic person. Please give reasons or examples why you think are one or both type/s.

Don't forget to respond to comments your classmates have posted as well. :-)

Peace, love and happiness.

Some Fun Links

On Friday I shared with you a couple of websites that can help you with your reading and writing.

http://dictionary.reference.com/

The link above takes you to an online dictionary. Just type in the word and you will get the meaning...in ENGLISH. :-)

http://www.word-detective.com/

This link will take you to the Word Detective's webpage. Check out his archive and learn where certain words and phrases originate. We did 'frisbee' in class.

Enjoy!

Week 2 - TIME

We talked about 'time' in class this week.

Do you ever wish you had more time?

What if the day had 25 hours? ...or 23 hours? What would you do?

Please post your comments here. Don't forget to read and respond to comments your classmates have written.

Take your time. ;-)
